The Hotel Rose has been a family owned and operated hotel business since its inception in 1921, servicing the American Military Community of Heidelberg for more than 50 years.We offer not only hotel accomodations, but also a wide range of services to our guests. We offer extended accommodations to soldiers in a TDY status at affordable rates, as well as temporary lodging for families awaiting assignment to government or local economy housing.
The long history of our hotel and frequent visits by American customers has allowed us to tailor our hotel to meet the needs of traveling service members.
Each room offers a full range of amenities; comfortable German style beds with a full bathroom, refrigerator and color television and private telephone and W-LAN. The hotel offers 7 different AFN-Channels in our Cellar room to watch any time. Some rooms have either a VCR or a DVD player and we have a small selection of American movies. Guests in the Hotel Rose have unlimited access to our SAUNA and wonderful dayroom, were they can relaxe, meet new friends and enjoy a festive atmosphere. We also have 2 PRIVATE KITCHENS for our guests to make their favorite dishes or just a cup of coffee. Our guests can take care of their personal laundry needs by using our AMERICAN styled WASHER and DRYER, with IRONING BOARDS available.
We open each morning for a full BREAKFAST BUFFET, which includes a European and American assortment of foods. Breakfast is included as a part of our room rates, with no extra charge to our guests.
The Hotel Rose is centrally located and within easy commuting distance to all American facilities in the Heidelberg area and within WALKING DISTANCE to the US-HOSPITAL and USAREUR/ 7 TH ARMY HEADQUARTER on CAMPBELL BARRACKS.
Family Fein- Reese would like to continue its proud history of service to the American Military Community. Our room rates can be further reduced by the established German tax, using a VAT-Form. We accept Visa-, Master- and American Express Card .
