Our Hotel 

We welcome you to our traditional Hotel-Garni in Heidelberg.

The Hotel Rose is centrally located and within easy commuting distance to all Heidelberg attractions. Park your car on our gated parking lot ( not free of charge) and travel comfortably by tram in 10 minutes directly to Heidelberg's old town or to the main railway station. (Bus and street car stop directly outside the hotel, "Rohrbach market" of the lines 23 +24 +28 +29). The Thoraxklinik (chest clinic) of the University of Heidelberg is just a 5 minute walk away.

We offer 18 non smoking rooms in various categories.

All our rooms offer a full range of amenities; comfortable beds with a full bathroom, hair dryer, Mini-bar, Flat screen TV, private telephone and free W-LAN access. We have family rooms with 2 bedrooms available to accommodate traveling families. Guests in the Hotel Rose have unlimited access to our Sauna Room to relax after a long day. We also have two private kitchens available for our guests to make their favorite dish or just a cup of coffee. We open each morning for a full Breakfast Buffet.           ( Monday - Friday ) from 0700 to 1000 hrs and on the weekends from 0800 to 1000 hrs. The room rates include Breakfast Buffet, VAT and all taxes.

Stroll through Heidelberg´s oldest neighborhood Rohrbach, where Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and Joseph von Eichendorff once strolled through and enjoy dinner in one of 10 different restaurants within walking distance of the Rose Hotel.

When you need to check-in outside of reception hours, we have a key drop box for your convenience. This is available 24 hours a day at the main entrance door.

We accept  Visa and Mastercard for payment.

We would like to inform you that the city of Heidelberg will introduce a bed tax of €3.50 per person per night (from the age of 16) starting from October 1, 2025. This tax applies to both private and business trips. The amount is not included in the accommodation price and will be charged additionally. It is a mandatory levy that does not generate any additional revenue for us, as the amount is directly transferred to the city of Heidelberg. For continuous occupancy in the same establishment, it will be charged for a maximum of 5 nights
